Yes, these are my real nails. 
And yes, I really did design/paint/do these myself. 


About Aly
I'm a busy, working Mom who enjoys painting my fingernails. I'm not a professional nail tech, not do I aspire to be one.  I just paint because it makes me happy.  I got my start in Nail Art when I was a teenager and my grandma bought me a KLUTZ Nail Art book (see new version of the book here)  I started with toothpicks and a few polishes.  Now I own over 100 polishes and lots of fun tools.
At first, I decided to start a blog just to share my designs with friends and family who were interested.  But it has turned into a slight addiction/obsession.  :D  I've found other blogger and nail art fanatics across the globe through my blog and a Facebook Group of Polish-aholics Anonymous.  I'll post as often as I change the designs on my fingernails and include instructions and pictures. ENJOY!
