I first saw these in a tutorial from Rebecca Likes Nails. You should really go check it out! She explains how to do this SO WELL! It was really easy to follow her photos!
My attempt was a little shakey, so pardon the less-than-straight lines. Rebecca used Fast Dry polishes, which was definitely an advantage! I used Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Sun Kissed (orange), Blue Me Away, and Green With Envy. It took a REALLY long time for layers to be dry enough to do the next one. I LOVE how this one looks, but I'm gonna have to dry it with faster-drying polishes next time.
